This exhibition aims to show and to share with its public 10 years of "everyday architecture". It tells the tale of the architect’s working process. A path made of searching, doubting and pleasure. The story of an architect's practise which refuses a "ready made" approach. Through searching for the relation between architecture and its context, every project find its own autonomy: each context is unique, each project is unique. L'Atelier d'architecture was found in 1978 and has had the opportunity to approach various programs such as universities, embassies, hospitals, housing and offices in France and abroad. Each project has its own identity as a result of the synthesis of a large number of parameters. The work of Brenac & Gonzalez is completed by a plastic approach which is enhanced by the frequent use of colours, the choice of certain materials and the preference for a volumetric abstraction.
